About the Workshop

The Porto Commercial Association – Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACP-CCIP) and  Yunit Consulting are hosting the “Tax Benefits: How Can They Help Your Business?” workshop on 13 February. This free session, starting at 9:30 AM at the António Cálem Auditorium, Palácio da Bolsa, aims to equip businesses with the necessary knowledge to maximise tax benefits as a key driver of growth, innovation, and competitiveness.

Many companies underestimate the full potential of tax benefits, often viewing them solely as a means of reducing corporate tax. However, when strategically applied, tax benefits serve as a powerful tool for driving investment, optimising resources, and complementing available financial support mechanisms.

During this workshop, participants will gain insights into some of the most relevant tax incentives, including SIFIDE, RFAI, and ICE, and explore how these can be effectively combined with existing financial incentive schemes. Additionally, the session will feature a roundtable discussion and experience-sharing segment, where experts and business leaders will present real-world cases, offering a practical and applied approach to the Portuguese business landscape.

  Director of the Porto Commercial Association and member of the Strategic Council for Tax and Social Security Affairs at CIP. With nearly 25 years of experience, he is a specialist in audit, management, and taxation, having worked with numerous national and international companies.
  

• Eduardo Silva 
  Operations Director at Yunit Consulting, with over a decade of experience in R&D project management and the submission of applications for incentive schemes and tax benefits, particularly in the industrial and technology sectors.

• Nuno Oliveira 
  Executive Director at Soltráfego, with a career dedicated to innovation and sustainable urban mobility. He previously served as VP of Sales and Marketing at JP-IK, led the public sector division at Microsoft Portugal, and held the position of Deputy Mayor, overseeing finance, innovation, and urban mobility.
