Yunit Consulting, through its specialized team in advising on the purchase and sale processes of companies and businesses, has successfully completed the purchase operation of the entire capital of Neves de Almeida HR Consulting by Cegoc, the Portuguese subsidiary of Grupo Internacional Cegos and which has been operating in Portugal since 1962 in the Training, Consulting, Recruitment & Selection and Coaching sectors.
The group thus reinforced its operations in Portugal by expanding its portfolio of Learning & Development solutions in order to complement lines of action in which each company had fewer skills, and reinforcing the team. The result will be the creation of a unique and comprehensive offer, bringing together the best of both consultants, which responds to clients' most strategic and pressing needs. This operation will grow the joint business in Portugal, as well as in the PALOP.
Commenting on the transaction, Ricardo Martins, Cegoc's CEO states that "the support from the Yunit team throughout this process was critical to its successful completion. From identifying a target in line with the characteristics we were looking for, to providing support in critical moments of the negotiation process, Bernardo's team showed determination, persistence and invaluable knowledge".
According to Bernardo Maciel, Yunit's CEO, this operation “is part of a growth and consolidation strategy for the company's corporate finance business area. The search for investors, the opening of capital or looking at growth through the acquisition of other companies have become significantly present in the options of Portuguese managers and entrepreneurs and we have been challenged to accompany them in these processes of defining a fundraising strategy of capital or for custom-made purchases for the customer.”
