Tell us a little about your background, where do you come from, what and where was your training and how long ago did you join Yunit?

I was born on January 11st, 1999, 113 years after the start of the first official world chess championship or, if you prefer, 841 years after Ladislaus II became king of Bohemia. I spent the first eight years of my life in Arcozelo, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, and, since 2007, I have lived in Nespereira, in Lousada. In 2016, I started my academic journey at ISEP, where I left five years later, after finishing my master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. A few months later, in February 2022, I started working at Yunit.

Tell us about a project or moment that particularly motivated you or challenged you in an unexpected way.

I consider that, given the nature of our field, the daily challenges we face are often unexpected, as we work with projects not only of very different types, but also from very different sectors. Even so, I would highlight the first project I was involved in, in this case, a very interesting application to SIFIDE, which allowed me to get to know and gain a taste for the work that I mostly carry out in the first half of the year.

How would you describe Yunit’s culture?

Very simply, I would say that Yunit is the place where everyone has the space and support necessary for their professional and personal development.

What advice would you give to someone who has just strarted a job at Yunit?

Enjoy and don't be afraid to take on each opportunity and each challenge that will be given to you.

If you hadn't chosen to work in a Consultant, is there any other sector of activity you would have chosen?

I would probably be working on something related to Mechanical Engineering, linked to the area of ​​materials or energy.

Tell us about a hobby you have or an activity you really want to do one day!

There are some trips I want to take, places I want to see, especially beach destinations. It would also be interesting to take a ride or two behind the wheel of a competition car.
